SHORT INTRODUCTION TO Camí dels Bons Homes:
The Camí dels Bons Homes is a tourist route between the sanctuary of Queralt, in Berga (Catalonia, Spain) and the castle of Montsegur (Ariège, France), which goes throug the historical route used by the Cathars or "bons homes " (good man) during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries as they fled the crusade and inquisition, promoted by the Catholic Church of Rome with the help of the King of France.
Nowadays is a Long Distance Path (GR 107), which than can be explored on foot, horseback and in most sections, mountain biking. The trail connects Spain and France crossing the beautiful Pyrenees in 6-10 stages with great historical and natural environment.
A variant of the road passing through the Solsonès from Gósol reaches the sanctuary of Miracle, and still mostly the GR7.
